Folical Fallout

What the hell? I am shedding like a Golden Retriever.

I thought pushing that baby out after 26 hours of labor was the end of my pregnancy woes. Now I find, three months later, I'm being plagued by the nuisance of loosing my hair. I learned on Baby Center that it's due to the lack of estrogen or something in your body after pregnancy.

It's everywhere. I've found hair in the weirdest places. Driving to the gym today I saw three of my hairs stuck in the windshield wiper of my car. I'm not so sure how they got there since I don't spend much time rolling around on the hood of my car...anymore. And I don't think it's literally raining my hair. Although it feels like it.

I've also found them wrapped around the baby's pacifier which literally makes me gag. They have been in my slippers, around my wedding ring, my fingernails, all over the lint trap in the dryer, and even on the dog. I can't even begin to discuss my brush.

The shower is the worst. I can't stand the feel of wet hair on my hands so I usually stick them to the shower wall and at the end of my shower splash water at the wall to make them slide down to their ultimate doom in the drain. I think the inventor of Drain-o must have been going through this ultimate hair loss or been married to someone who had just given birth.

So, I thank you "pregnancy" for this final kick in the ass. One last memento to fondly remember the pain and discomfort of being pregnant.

I'm off to cut off all of my hair.

♥LOVE♥ your new makeover! Cute! I had this with both mine..you are right very annoying. I also found my hair on my wiper just last month! LOL!

Maybe you can start saving it to sell to Brett Michaels for hair extensions? Maybe make a little money off your Estrogen lacking head? Heh, college is gonna be expensive.

Yep - those pregnancy hormones (usually) give one such luxurious, thick hair - and then, it's FALL... gag - I couldn't believe how much hair I lost. I was starting to think something was seriously wrong with me... One of the joys of a hormone-ravaged body!!!
